Located at 76 Murray St. in the Byward Market, it’s known as Ottawa’s Legendary Home of the Blues… with justification. The Rainbow has built a solid reputation Internationally and throughout Canada as an excellent club to see favourite blues artists as well as being an outstanding venue and a “must stop” for musicians to perform at.

6). Irene’s Pub Restaurant

A laid-back watering hole with a large whisky selection & a full calendar of live music. Opened originally as Cap’n Pinky’s in September of 1985, this iconic pub in The Glebe has been a spiritual home to artists and musicians for a quarter of a century. Those years have seen the pub host live musical events, art showing and special gatherings for the community. It’s always stocked with a variety of single malt whiskies and a wide selection of drafts on tap.

7). Cafe Dekcuf

Cafe Dekcuf is made for small crowds. Its limited size is compensated by the ton of character with the variety of artists that Cafe Dekcuf hosts. The crowd gets really close to the bands making the performance more intimate. It’s a great place to discover some awesome music.

8). GigSpace

GigSpace is housed within the vibrant teaching community at Alcorn Music Studios. GigSpace Performance Studio is dedicated to creating inspired artistic performances, while providing an intimate listening room for discerning audiences. GigSpace seats 46 persons and is a not-for-profit organization with charitable status.
